Watsgrow Vermiculite is a natural soil amendment that enhances moisture retention and aeration in potting mixes, delivering essential elements to plant roots for better root development, growth rates, and yields. Watsgrow Vermiculite can be mixed with peat moss, mushroom compost, cactus soil, organic soil, bark, perlite, compost, coconut coir, worm castings, potting soil, and various other soils or soilless media. Watsgrow Vermiculite #3 attracts and holds positively charged ions, such as potassium, magnesium, calcium, and ammonium, gradually releasing these vital elements to the plant roots. It also contains potassium and magnesium, which serve as a supplemental slow-release source of essential nutrients.
This product is ideal for container gardens, square foot gardening, raised bed gardens, greenhouse mixes, and hydroponic drip systems. Watsgrow Vermiculite #3 is developed with successful growing in mind. Its negative charge provides excellent cation-exchange capacity, promoting healthy bacteria in your growing media and attracting and holding positively charged ions. It also improves water retention, wettability, pH stability in soilless mixtures, and offers greater particle strength. For an effective soilless mix, combine 30% Watsgrow Vermiculite VER4 with 30% Watsgrow Perlite VPER4 and 40% Watsgrow Coconut Coir VCCB5. Watsgrow Vermiculite bags are biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
